Salma Hayek has shared not one but two photos of herself on Instagram living life to the fullest in swimwear, making us rather jealous of her holidays in the process.

Months after posting a photograph of herself on the social media platform in a black swimsuit to celebrate her 54th birthday, the actress celebrated the turn of the year with two new photos of herself.

In one photo, the mother-of-one wears a a fuchsia pink swimsuit, cover-up and hat while standing on a white sandy beach.

‘Last days of 2020. Never been more grateful for being healthy and in contact with nature,’ she captioned the snaps, which have been ‘liked’ more than 1.3 million times.

Days later, the Frida star shared a selfie while standing in blue sea water, wearing a brown halterneck bikini with a red lining and tortoise shell sunglasses.

‘Stunning queen,’ wrote one Instagram user in the comments section to the photo. ‘Gorgeous! 2021 looking great already!!’ added another.

It’s unknown where the actress is currently on holiday, but from the looks of the sand and sea, we must admit we’re feeling rather envious of her sunny trip.

Ahead of Christmas, Hayek amazed fans – including actor Ryan Reynolds – with an Instagram post of her impressive wine collection.

‘Getting ready for Christmas dinner,’ she captioned a photo of herself in a wine cellar containing shelves of dozens of bottles of vino.

It’s believed the cellar is part of her French home she shares with her husband, businessman François-Henri Pinault, and is decorated with a leather chair and a sign that reads: ‘Life is too short to drink bad wine.’

Prior to Christmas, the actress seemingly was preparing for celebrating the festivities in France with her husband and 13-year-old daughter, Valentina. The family are usually based in London.

Last September, the Mexican-born star opened up about how she’s coped during lockdown amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

‘During lockdown, my biggest challenge was the fear and uncertainty: it was a very strange sensation not having structure or a set schedule, knowing there were many things up in the air, and not knowing what awaited us in the future,’ she noted to The Telegraph.

‘But there were also some perks. I really enjoyed having my husband, François, work from home and we got to use the time he previously spent commuting having breakfast in our garden.’
