*There is a reason why the walls of Jericho remains strong despite its many setbacks in the past.
**There is something that Jericho protects so dearly and it will use any strategy to keep its fortified walls that way.
NOTE: The wall of Jericho could represent any obstacle in your life that deters you from reaching your goals/achieving happiness in life.
Anytime you have put in the work and have used the resources required to get results but results are not forthcoming especially after numerous attempts. You might be encountering the wall of Jericho. This wall does not disappear with more hard work or persistence. You need to talk to God about it. After all, God created the heavens and the earth. Talk to him
Before the wall of Jericho
*The commander of the army of the LORD appeared to Joshua to deliver a message from God.
**The gates of Jericho was securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.
***Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.
March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days.
Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets.
When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”
****All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the LORD and must go into His treasury.
*****When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpets, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and took the city.
Lesson
*Jericho wall could represent anything in your life; be it relationships, future career, examinations, job hunt, business or just something good you are expecting.
**Jericho wall remains strong and fortified because it holds within it treasures, good measures of life, to improve standard of living.
***Your success and hard work pays off after the wall of Jericho falls flat.
****You might find yourself frustrated that your goals are not met or your future career seems impossible to achieve. It might be that the wall of Jericho is still standing tall in your life.

*Oh LORD, in the Name of Jesus, anything representing the wall of Jericho in my life, fall flat to the ground. Amen.
