Samuel B.Fuller Became The Richest Man in America with $25

It is interesting to know that anything you believe in can be achieved with hard work and perseverance. This is the case of Samuel B. Fuller in 1929. Samuel went from a $25 loan to become the richest black man in America in the 1950s.

Samuel who came from a humble beginning to a sharecropper family in Munroe, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana had to quit school to support his family. What do you expect of Samuel whose mother died when he was very young?

After taking odd jobs at a coal yard and Commonwealth Burial Association, young Samuel borrowed $25, used his car as collateral and started selling soap products from door to door in Chicago.

Samuel soon formed his company “Fuller Products Company” and his business became so successful that by 1939, he had opened his own factory producing his own soap and other commodities as well.
